Costumes and Cosplay

Cosplay is something I started playing around with in 2003. Below are the projects that I still have pictures of. One day I'll get around to taking pictures with my other costumes!

I do commissions. Check the commissions page to see my terms, and my current jobs. If you want something after looking at that page email me and we can get something worked out!

Fruits Basket

Created for JACON 04 in Orlando, Florida

I wish I had the full costume, but I only have the jacket left. I took those pictures sometime in 2007. I have worn the hell out of that coat, hence the rips and tears. It lasted a really long time for a thing I picked up at a Beall's Outlet Winter Sale for $13.

Battle Royale

Created for Megacon 03 in Orlando, Florida.

I did the skirt only, to her exact specifications. Unfortunately the pleats look like they have fallen out because I didn't get a chance to properly starch it before the con. It was a super quick job, with me delivering the skirt to her hotel only mere hours before the con began. It's a shame I can't remember the girls name, but she was a sweetheart.

NANA

This was created for giggles, and knitting practice. You can see the movie image that the scarf was based off of here. I have an entire rant about that scarf, as far as the construction of the movie version, but I'll save that for another day!

Pirates Of The Caribbean

I made this for my best friend for his Halloween party in 2007. Together we did the shirt, waistcoat, and pants (which I don't have a picture of unfortunately). It was all supposed to be aged, but the antique satin that we made the waistcoat from didn't want to age, even when he threw pure bleach on it. It is actually sewn with the wrong side of the fabric out, to give more of a rough look that says 'been at sea'.

Combined work time, it took us roughly a week to complete, with one last thirteen hour sewing marathon at the end to get it finished one hundred percent.

Overall, I am the more proud of this costume than I have ever been for any costume I have created to date.

He was really excited, namely because he said he would still be in character even drunk, which is something that always happens to all of us at his parties!

Harry Potter

I made this at the end of last year for jazzy_fay. It took forever because of four family deaths in a row, but I got it done and the customer was pleased!

This image was a work in progress image because when I finished it I was so rushed to ship it I never got a shot.

This is my Halloween costume from 2007. I was Pansy Parkinson! Most of it I ordered because of time constraints, but I did make the skirt.
