"Severus, were you drawing in class?"
He clutched his folder tightly. "I pay attention in class, unlike some people," he replied snidely.
Lily giggled. "Lemme see!"
He tightened his grip on the papers and tried to escape but her curious grabbing hands halted his motion. He felt ridiculous fighting for the folder, especially with a girl. Their tug of war was gaining attention so he surrendered.
She shuffled through the papers until she found her prize. "Severus using a levicorpus jinx on Potter," she said with an amused grin. "Classic."
He wished there was a counter jinx to quell his rapidly beating heart.
