• New contest entered! It's in the section below, so give it a look see. There are some FABULOUS entries so far, but I had to give it a try anyway!

As usual, I welcome new visitors, and thank those who come on a regular basis. The navigation is on the right, and it's been a little reworked. I've decided to include some of my old content, such as the character profiles from when this was strictly an Inuyasha site. I have also added a few new sections for other series, as well as more graphics.

The site is in a bit of a disarray at the moment, since I'm still trying to get the organization down with the new sections, and round up all of my stories to put in the proper sections. I'll get there in time!

• Omizumaru and I won second place in the Best Comedy category at the IYFG for Things Sesshoumaru Would Never Say. No banner yet, just a note.
• First place banner added in my iyfic_contest section on the awards page for "You Do The Math".

The voting will be over at the IFYG and winners from the 2nd Quarter 2007 will be announced in a few more days. Even though there were much better stories in the category that Omizumaru and I were nominated for I am still antsy to see who wins. I'm rooting for Kagome Smells ^_^

I've been wanting to do some more guest activities, I just don't know what to do. I have done a mystery picture thing before, but not many people participated last time. I really don't have the traffic through here but it would be something fun to do.

Anyway, I've actually gotten some stuff done this update!

• Joined the Destiny Alliance. Look at the bottom of this page for a full list of links.
• Characters page has been updated with mini profiles of Yura, the Mu-Onna, Thunder Brothers, and Mistress Centipede.
• More screenshots have been added.
• New pages for manga and anime summaries have been added. They are no where near complete yet (barely started really), but it will be something updated every week or so.
• Fall On Me has been updaed with chapter five.
• New story! Walking Away has been added to my personal fanfic section.
• New link; I've posted a link to my Charlie Weasley-cenric fiction archive, Tamer Of Hearts.

Gah! I've done the best I could this time between being ill with something like bronchitis and mourning over Deathly Hollows. If you have read it, you now what I mean. I'm still so sad, but it was an amazing book. Simply amazing.

I was shocked to find that Love The One You're With had been listed over at Fanworksfinder.com, so if you like it rate it! I would really appreciate it!

Alrighty! Even feeling down and out I have gotten quite a bit done!

• Images in the characters section updated. More info has been added as well.
• More images for episode 160 added in the images section
• Received the Benevolent award from Inuyasha Karma. That can be seen in the awards section.
• Two new stories and various updates by Omizumaru have been added to her archive page.
• ElegantPaws has updated "This Sesshoumaru Needs Not A Mate". Chapter 15 is up!
• Two poems by Twilight Sazuka have been posted.
• Story Oh, The Life Of Nobility has been added to my personal fiction section.
• New story on the collaborations page.

I feel very accomplished this week.

All of the stories are now hosted here instead of having links out.

The archive has another author! Welcome ElegantPaws!

• New banners and awards added to the awards page.
• Drabbles added to both Omizumaru and MomoDesu's drabbles pages.
• A new link button with the sites new name has been added to the links section.
• Some of the character icons have been added back into the character profiles section. I missed my pretty pictures! Profiles have been updated and a new profile for Goshinki has been added.

That's really it for now! I have a lot of ideas ready to be used, and a new layout in the works, so check back often!

As you can already see, I bought hosting! Everything should work properly now ^_^

I'm fixing things as we speak, as far as the few pages that were messed up or had really strange formatting.

MD's List of Accomplishments:

• Repaired the pages and links that were broken before the move.
• Added Evolution Of Red in Omizumaru's drabble section.
• Added Collaborations section in the archive.
• The screencaps gallery is back! So far there are only Inuyasha images, but I have others in the works!

I feel like I have been neglecting this place. I really do.

I am in the process of moving all of the fiction to this host here so it will be accessable anytime instead of having to wrestle with A Single Spark (who has had some sever problems lately). I have put in HaloScan so if you feel the need to leave a review, which would really please the author, you have the ability to.

Sometime in the near future the site will be moving. I have researched low cost web hosting and have come up with a list of pretty spiffy deals that have a lot of great options (like automated fiction archives, for example). It is something that I would really like to explore.

Ah, now that my ramblings are out of the way, on to the updates!

List of Accomplishments:

• Check the newer layout! I kept the same idea, but wanted a new look. I think I like these nice happy colors!
• Added an Odds & Ends section with things that I don't know where else to put, like quiz results or other nifty little goodies that I have come across.
• Three new Harry Potter LJ icons in the icons page.
• Omizumaru has made updates on all of her stories, so go give them a look!
• Three new stories added on MomoDesu's page.

I'm working on ironing out a few kinks that I noticed, like links that are supposed to pop up in their own window opening up in the iframe. I should have that straightened out soon.

Pages updated this update:

New goodies posted in the awards and nominations section. Omizumaru won first place for iyfic_contest theme 'box' and I took first place in week 99 for the theme 'scream'. Nifty banners have been posted. Thanks Forth!

I tried my hand at icon making again. There is a new Daniel Henney icon in the graphics section.

Slowly but surely all of my stories and Omizumaru's stories that are posted over at A Single Spark will be moved here. There have been a lot of problems with their servers lately and it has been very hard to get on to read or to post. So far Dirty Little Secret and the first five chapters of Omizumaru's The Telling have been moved.

A review system is finally up and running! If you take the time to read, please leave a review. Makes the author happy!

I am also pleased to announce that Omizumaru and I have been working on a collaboration. Our lips are sealed on plot as of right now, but there will be status updates ^_^

As always, let me know what you think so I can improve the site. I am running blind with this thing without visitor imput, haha.

I've been putting a better effort into getting this completed instead of leaving it half done like Ninja Food, so I have made a goal for myself to update once a week. I am not sure what day it will be, but I am going for Mondays that way I have the weekend to finish up what I haven't done in my free time during the week.

Here is what I've gotten done this week:

• Added the story The Demon And The Juice Box to my page, and the award I got for it on the awards page. I got a joint first place for it at ebony_silks! They're Giving Me Cavaties has also been added.
• Added "Great Start" award from Shattered Illusions to the awards page.
• I have a new affiliate! Go to the links page and check out InuFiction Archives. It has lists and links to all of the major fiction awards in the Inuyasha fandom.

I wanted to get a lot more done, but I realized that I have a lot of repairs to make throughout the site so I am going to post a little at a time all this week.

Remember, Omizumaru does update her stories quite frequently on A Single Spark, so check back often. Updates have been made since my last update here; and don't forget to leave a review if you like what she's got going!

New layout everone! I liked the old one, but wanted something more related to what my site covers. So I had to go with my favorite: Sesshoumaru.

Here is what's new:

No real thoughts for today, just some updates!

• Added stories "Wrapped Around Her Finger" in my personal fiction section.
• Updated Inuyasha characters page; added more characters and organized.
• Added Other Anime section, with resources on various anime. So far there is only a Nana section, but it will be expanded to cover more.
• Added Sesshoumaru's Castle, who I was affiliated with back at Ninja Food, to the affiliates section.
• TwilightSazuka's page is up and running!
• A few more stories added to the recommendations page.

There is still much work that needs to be done, so please bear with me and keep those opinions coming in!

The MP3 rotation is finally up and running. All of the terms are on the page, so check it out!

I also entered a Kikyo-centric one shot contest over at Tragic Priestess. If you are a writer, go check it out. There aren't many entries at all right now and it would be nice to see more. I don't see very many good Kikyo stories out there so I'm excited to see the stories the other contestants write!

A new story has been posted in my fiction section called Hung Up. It is a Sesshoumaru POV with his thoughts on Kagome.

I am pleased to welcome a new guest author! TwilightSazuka is a dear friend of mine and I'm very happy to have her here too. Her page isn't quite ready yet, though I will definitely shout when it is. I love her to pieces so I am very happy that she has given me permission to share her poetry.

Wow, two updates in two days!

Hot off of the presses! No More Secrets has been completed! If you have been following it, go check it out! I feel rather empty now that the story is finished, but I am working on a one shot Kikyo piece for a contest over at Tragic Priestess. Wish me luck!

I just went through and did some repair on some of the pages that had problems. I'm still trying to figure out what I am going to do about the navigaion problem. If you have any ideas, throw them at me. I'm definitely in the market!

I added a few things to the links page, including a link to one of my old affies over at Ninja Food. There are also a couple of buttons there now so if you want to link me you don't have to do a text link!

A banner has been added to the awards page from Frozen Tears for guessing the lyrics.

A fiction recommendations page has been added on the writings page. Each story on there is a personal favorite of mine so I hope you enjoy them too! If you have a favorite story you would like to see added let me know and I'll give it a look.

I know it is totally unrelated to my writing and anime in general, but in the junk section I will be adding a recipes page for my favorite meals. I have just started that so it won't be up for a while, but it's a section for those of you who love to cook as much as I do. Maybe one day I'll start a recipe exchange!

That's really it. I have a lot of ideas that have yet to be put into action, so keep checking back!

May 3, 2007 Isn't this layout just the cutest? I fell in love with it instantly when I saw it! I wish I had some icons or something to match it, but that's fine with me. I don't need no stinkin icons! *grrr*

I think I got everything taken care of as far as pages go. I think the navigation is still a bit rough, but I'll get there eventually! I have a tagboard now too! Don't forget to drop me a line and let me know what you think!

I don't really have an update today, mostly a rant. The only update I've got is the links page has been updated with a few resources on writing fanfiction and a link to The Guide To Japanese Castles.

Now my rant. One of my favorite author's was accused of plagiarism. This is the second person I've heard about within the last two weeks being falsely accused and it's starting to annoy me. The people doing the accusing have no legs to stand on, considering all fanficiton is plagiarism if you really get down to it. What pisses me off the most is the pestering grew to a point where the author threw in the towel straight up.

There is no reason for these goobers going around pointing fingers when there was no wrong doing. I'm sorry if they are jealous or whatever. It just means you have to work harder, not go around and piss people off while trying to pull the 'poor me' crap. If you are going to accuse, there better be some damn good evidence other than 'because I say so'.

Smaller update. Added a few stories of my own and fixed some of the links page. I still need to get my resource page together, so if any of you have a page that you use of one you would like to see there, drop me a line and I'll add it after I check it out!

I'm pleased to announce two firsts for The Lively Pencil! I've got my first guest author lined up and I've got my fist link exchange! I welcome my first guest author Moondoggie! She's a great writer and I'll have the appropriate links and such posted soon! Also if you check out the links section, I've exchanged links with Mintomami at Anime Media. Go check out the site when you can!
